President Muhammadu Buhari again on Tuesday promised that he would not relent in his administration’s ongoing anti-corruption war. He said he would deploy all appropriate and legal measures to rid the country of graft.

The Federal Government has declared Wednesday, July 5, and Thursday, July 7, as public holiday to mark the Eid el-Fitr celebration following the non-sighting of the moon on Monday. The Minister of Interior, retired Lt.-Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau, made the declaration on Tuesday in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Mr Bassey Akpanyung.
